How did Imagine Apostolic Doctrine Church begin?
Imagine Apostolic Doctrine Church was established December 1, 2004 in Texas City, TX. The church was established under the leadership of Pastor Elect Lady Patricia Woodkins. The church started in Pastor Woodkins’ home at 1002 13th Street North Texas City, TX 77590 with the following members: Scherketha Barnett, Kayla Barnett, Jerrell Hudson, Kai Summers, Lexus Robbins, Samiya Summers, Shamatha Jackson, Cornell Mathis, and Michael Allen.
Initially weekly services were held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As the church grew, Sunday services were added to the weekly service schedule.
The church grew in number over the years as we did have members to join and leave.
In 2008 the church was blessed to purchase a building. After about a year of renovation the church opened July 2009 and had its first service at the present location 2303 9th Avenue North Texas City, TX 77590.
